Can anyone help us locate a hiker last heard from Hampton TN was to check in w/ family in Damascus VA a week ago and never did. Not sure what his trail name is but real name Patrick - he was hiking with a man named Connor and a couple with a German Shepherd named Scout - not like him not to check in and his phone goes right to VM. Family very worried. He is from PA

Family contacted Carter County Sheriff's office who directed them to the Non-Emergency 911 call center. His phone was pinged near the Marion Shelter of the trail. Family is grateful for the first res ponders out there and are much more at ease knowing he's traveling and just has no cell phone service. Thank you for this forum!
