Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, Kathy and I actually have 3 days off the same this week.
So we came up with a plan to drive up to Harriman State Park early on Friday and spend the day hiking.
Then we'd over night in the park and hike back to the car Saturday morning. Next would be to drive over to where we do our boundary monitoring and spend Saturday doing that. A good plan to spend two days together, doing things we both enjoy.
Then earlyier in the week I came down with a wicked cold, the one Kathy had last week. We decided the smart thing to do is cancel the plans for hiking and sleeping out. I hope I feel well enough by later today that we can still get out for the Saturday as we planned it.
