it looks like its a cup with a filter built into the top. Wouldn't work for me carrying 2 or 3 liters at a time. I like my sawyer to filter a liter or two and maybe carry the sawyer bag with dirty water in it."Dazed and Confused"

I wish I could post the video. You fill the container. You then push the filter down. The water is now filtered. You can unscrew and fill other containers with clean water or just keep it in the container you filtered the water in.
I've been using a Sawyer squeeze the last couple of years. This Grayl looks so much easier to use fill it up and set it on a hard surface. Put the filter on top and let your weight and gravity filter it. With this there is no more pumping or squeezing. -
