Which is one reason I don't go the VA. They aren't trustworthy.--

We mistakenly referred to our city's finest as police defectives. We would now like to sincerely apologize to the entire police farce.I am human and I need to be loved - just like everybody else does

Besides, I don't work at that airport anymore.
The company moved south to the airport in Linden, NJ a few years ago -

I think I was quoting drybones....
Nope no bad attitude is required... good intentions are frequented by horrible consequences. I am reminded that VA and ACA are just that - Socialist medicine with the best of intentions - little value for anyone. I respect our vets and what they have given their lives for the way we live. Some ended up at the VA, unless you have been there at the VA you would never know. Men and others have given their lives and limbs FOR our freedom. Some are blind, quadriplegic, damaged, or worse. In special wings of each facility, there are those that are housed for life, that will kill anybody. Padded rooms that if there was a fire they could not be released under any condition. Trained to kill and they don't care. I have been in this facility locally.Be wise enough to walk away from the nonsense around you!The post was edited 1 time, last by Wise Old Owl: Apparently the quote failed. (User Error) ().

one sad and one funny I noticed at Cheaha. This past weekend.
Sad one first.
Some previous camper cut chunks out of the picnic table at the camp site I used.
Funny one.
Lots of lightning so I looked our of my tents window to see if my car or a nearby tree had been hit.
I see a guy walking across the road. No rain gear in the pouring rain. He fills a container at the spigot. He goes back across the road. He could have just stuck his arm out of his tent while holding the container and he would have stayed dry except for his arm. And filled up the container.
The funny part is he told them at the camp store the next day that they were leaving early because they were soaked from the rain.
It didn't rain at all during the race and barely sprinkled Sunday night.--

Not saying I disagree with trail building and maintenance. On, the contrary, I couldn't hike if it weren't for established trails. But we get spoiled and sometimes our expectations are unreasonable. Isn't that why we have the term "PUD's"...because pointless climbing seems stupid?
Would the AT be less crowded if it were allowed to get overgrown?Lost in the right direction. -
