Woopie Slings What you need to know.

Woopies were invented by Dutch as a way to increase speed of setup and lighten the weight for backpacking., Today there is a all in one set up that prevents accidental leaving the tree straps behind... No more standing around tying knots in the cold. So today I ordered a set of Woopies after talking with Dutch on the phone.

This is a simple setup of Woopies and Marlin Spike Hitch.

I decided to try tree hanging and just made two hammocks. I went with universal connectors instead of whoopies, same concept but less rope needed, they're easy, and fun, to make, great instructions on the hammock forums.

I an going to add more condensed information here that I find out on the web. I don't mind admiting that I am not into thread injectors, sewing. building or anything that doens't really fit Backpacking or hiking... Sort of well if you want a 1950's car - go out and buy one - don't build one? - Have someone fix it up for you... Hey look at this way - at a old owl age - I don't even buy green bananas....
