Sorry. I meant no harm. Just trying to pry him out of the woodwork. You might recall there were similar feelings when I suggested one for CrazyLarry. He ended up taking my suggestion. I am harmless. I meant it in love.

Welcome odd man out! Glad you could make it. I'd tell you now you're the odd man in but you're not alone here. Lots of odd man ins. Ladies too.
Odd man out sounds oddly familiarSometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.

Hello
You may know me from Whiteblaze.net. Odd man out has two meanings. When not hiking, I am the odd man out. When I am hiking, I am the odd man, out. Planning an AT hike in July, NOBO from VA635 Stony Creek to US 220 Daleville. 71 miles. Should take from 5 to 50 days. Have completely re-equipped myself with an EH Kalais, UGQ Flight Jacket, SMD Skyskape Trekker, Zelph Starlyte, and other stuff. Still waiting on the quilt. It shipped Fri so should be here any day. Thought I would stop in to see what's happening here.

My first post was 3 weeks and 1 day ago. So far I am up to 63 posts, counting this one. Should I aim for more than 3 posts per day? I can do quantity, but quality may suffer. Come to think of it, quality may already be suffering, but I do not mind sharing my mistakes if others can learn from them. There is a bit of troll devil in me, but I try to play nice.
I have three days left to hike, but the first two will be rainy. I might hike some on March 31, but I think I will skip the rainy days. I think I have done quite enough hiking in the rain, and even spent time diverting water off the AT on rainy days. If I skip rainy, mushy, and muddy days, maybe that is good for preventing soil erosion. Sounds like a good enough LNT excuse to me.
The good news is if I am not hiking or making money, then I can unleash the stovie part of me. Expect more stove related posts shortly. I am spending the week in Luray, VA.I am human and I need to be loved - just like everybody else does -
