Master Locks Suck or Who's Your Daddy?

mmmuuuaaahhhhh...

Made this warhammer about 12 years ago and through the years my coworkers have enjoyed bashing things. Had a lock that wouldn't open... Master locks may survive bullets but it didn't survive this... :thumbup:

I've watch 'How It's made' and there are only a few hundred possibilites for key locks. I think it makes it too easy for criminals to open key locks.

That axe certainly did a number on that lock.

I haven't meet a masterlock except those round locks that can't be broken into with a nail puller bar and a hammer.

I haven't meet a masterlock except those round locks that can't be broken into with a nail puller bar and a hammer.

I was taught (by my dad nonetheless) using a hammer, chisel, and a pair of needle nose plyers for operating the actual lock mechanism once you knock off the base place and the cylinder falls out. As an added bonus, if you knock the bottom plate off, you can still use the lock half-assedly since you can relock it and it still requires needlenose plyers or the like to reach in and turn the mechanism.

Same is true of most locks.

Back when I was on our volley fire dept, one of our favorite things was when someone would put a $75 high security lock on a gate, but then attach it with a dollar worth of anchor chain. If we needed emergency access We'd cut the chain without any trouble, open the gate and then give the owner back their expensive lock unharmed. They'd just keep using the chain that was one link shorter.

I am beginning to guess now have the life of the party when hiking with a war hammer on the trail. This being acknowledged, where is the rest of the uniform?
would this be a good choice for a hike?

Some years ago I made a joke that some of my ancestors must have said 'Hello Sailor !' at least a few times... ( the implication was they were hookers and not victims of invasion which is more likely what happened) otherwise how did I have such a long list of ancestry ? One of my coworkers got offended for me. I replied I could make fun of my ancestors if I wanted to.
