What are they?
And what do they taste like?

Never heard of them.
From ingredients they look loosely like small Anzac biscuits but much more ingredients.
Anzac biscuits are a simple high sugar high carbohydrate long shelf life biscuit or cookie.
Annie makes great ones.
Name comes from them being sent to soldiers in the days of sea borne mail.
These things look like a gimmick designed to part Americans from their money (as are most things labelled "organic").

Anzac biscuits make a great hiking snack. High sugar and carbs. Good snack.
Tim Tams are similar to some other biscuits around the world (Penguins in UK).
If you want a neat trick get a Tim Tam and bite of the ends. Then use it as a straw for a cup of coffee then eat the coffee infused biscuit. Bit messy but very nice.Resident Australian, proving being a grumpy old man is not just an American trait. - Anzac Cookies Authentic Biscuits 300g Australian Made

I'm guessing the "Aussie Bites" from Costco are the same thing, or a facsimile thereof.

Nearly everything we ingest is organic (contains carbon), with the exception of salt and water. I was born in North America, so that makes me a native American. As a kid, I sang a Scout song about being happy go-lucky carefree and gay. Give me back my language, damn it.I am human and I need to be loved - just like everybody else does
