Have found the replacement for my old green wool walking shirt.

Thin tight fleece, zip front with a turtle neck. deep front pockets for hands, longish sleeves and long in the back.
Today at around 1pm, the air temp was 28 and the wind was 7-10. I put my medium thick Capilene base on and the new Shirt. My day pack and went to the grocery store.

I am very pleased with the wind blocking, which is what I was hoping for. And not so thick to over heat.If colder, I could put a wicking t-shirt and be fine.

I think it must be the wicking of sweat. i walked a brisk 2 miles....shopped and 2 back. i must say I was pretty dry when i got home. i had only 20 lbs of groceries.
