TJ, it would be worth the drive just for you to taste a peace of the cheese cake.
The hiking and camping is just an excuse to eat it -

Never fear, if a member or two ventures westward, I'll make a white chocolate cheesecake with Oreo cookie crust. Just don't ask how the filling will be removed from the Oreos.

They had taken lunch, but I knew a spot about a quarter mile from them with good water. So I lunched there, I made myself tea, I think. Moose came along first and headed up, followed a bit by the rest of our troop. We stopped talked ...decided our weekend was over. The folks went up and got Moose, and we went to the Brite Star Diner in Central Valley. I now go back there to eat often went I work in the park....................anyway, we waited at that spot for a while, right after lunch. So our sweaty clothes was starting to catch that stiff cold wind. We built a real nice staircase/ step stone bridge from near where I am taking this pic. It is in my gallery.Cheesecake> Ramen

I am beginning to think we need a CL Cheese Cake intervention and introduce the twelve steps.[IMG:http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg275/MarkSwarbrick/Fun%20Post/pokewstick_zpsf4e5580f.gif]Be wise enough to walk away from the nonsense around you!

With the mild winter we have been having, I have been able to wear my Altra Lone Peak 3.0 trail runners every day. Just last night I was looking at them and realized for the first time that they have a built in Velcro tab on the heel for securing gaiters. Has anyone seen that on any other shoes?
I guess now I got to go get me some Dirty Girls.
