The only woman I think the Duke really enjoyed acting with. Big Jake is a classic.
I personally enjoyed it when she came out of retirement to do Only the Lonely. Would not have appreciated her character in real life, but it made the movie a lot more interesting.The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.

Watched the Quiet Man many times, and visited some of the film sites in the little village of Cong in Ireland.
Do you remember her role as Esmeralda in the 1939 version of 'The Hunchback of Notre-Dame.' Here is the memorable ending of that movie...
