Ethylene glycol is toxic, and propylene glycol tastes awful. What kind of antifreeze did you have in mind? Ethanol?meat wrote:

Never mix chlorine and antifreeze least you have a very violent reaction, speaking from experiences as (dumb ass) kids. -

Sorry, my experience is limited to black powder. I've rolled my own firecrackers. You have probably been rolling something else.

after hike I soak my filter in vinegar to dissolve hard water deposits. Rinse with tap wate, rinse with bleach water, final rinse, with distilled water so it dries without scale.

I have mostly gone non cook for breakfast, but when I used to make oatmeal, I grew to despise the instant packages. Instead I would mix instant oats with sugar, salt, cinnamon, etc.., but the secret was to add it to hot water without boiling. The texture is quite different as the starch hasn't dissolved, but I rather like it this way. The big advantage is it doesn't get all gummy and set up like glue when it cools (actually wallpaper paste is just dissolved melted starch). The pot is easy to clean. Residue just rinses away in cold water (which you drink).

Chlorine and algae-cide...there's a neat thermic bomb right there...way more intense than glycerine and potassium permanganate.... -

There were battles fought in the Pacific Ocean in the 1700s over several small islands that had bird and bat guano on them.--

Check out this video of the St. Louis Fire Department fighting a massive magnesium fire. They seem genuinely surprised every time they dump water on it that it keeps exploding...it would be comical if so many people hadn't been injured and lost property over the sheer stupidity of the STLFD...it's like they don't even have a hazmat unit....

If your tire loses air, don't keep driving if you have mag wheels.

On the upside I still have all of my fingers and toes. The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.

One of the neighbor kids is missing an arm from the elbow down from mixing match heads, wax, black powder, and a capped pipe. We were playing baseball when the detonation occurred. First time I saw so much blood.

Once as a kid I was in the hospital for an illness and the kid in the bed next to me was the older brother of one of my school mates, I didn't know him all that well, but he and some of his friends were foolin' with airisol paint cans, and thrownin' em in a fire. The kid next to me had a burned up arm pretty bad and missing hair, and one of his friends died...crazy stupid stuff we kids do/did.
