There's a hike in the book Trekking the Southern Appalachians on the MTS trail I'm considering, goes from highway 74/23 to 215, follows the Blue Ridge Parkway in a lot of areas, 35 miles, most above 5000 ft, looks like the drive on the Parkway to set up a shuttle would be a nice drive...anyone hiked this section?

If anyone is interested in doing this hike with us, it's planned for 10/16, don't know the group size yet, only two of us at the moment...starts just south of Waynesville near the Parkway.
