Camping at Unionville Park after eating at Annabelle's. Got a little behind yesterday because the tread on my shoes started to peel off. Called my wife so she scould send the shoes I had ready to go, but she was already on the road to Indiana, so I tried duct tape but the rocks ate it up in a few miles. So the guy at the Sunshine AT Deli gave me some Gorilla Tape which has worked for 30 miles, and hopefully will for another 100. So much stronger/tougher than duct tape. Also found out Pawling, NY does not have any motels, but old friend from college lives in Danbury, CT is going to pick me up Thursday and get me to a train to NYC Friday morning. I like that I am not getting rained on (done that before 3 weeks straight), but flip side is water is scarce in NJ, and SOBO's saying the same for NY. Seeing at least 5 SOBO a day now.
Starting early tomorrow to get back on schedule. Really looking forward to meeting Coach Lou (Sat) and Hiker Boy (Sun).
Friday Wawayanda
Saturday Wildcat
Sunday Fingerboard
Monday Fort Montgomery - Bear Mountain Bridge Motel
Tuesday Fahnestock SP
Wednesday Morgan Stewart
Hard to believe only a week left.

The road to glory cannot be followed with much baggage.
