I have the book Born to Run, I guess I need to read it. The author died a year or two (?) ago. He collapsed and died when running in the desert.Lost in the right direction.

Seriously, if you havent read it, its a really good book, dont have to be a runner to enjoy it.
There used to be a pdf version online you could find and download for free by googling it and pdf download.

He's really not that far off the pace and he seems to be getting back to full strength pretty quickly. it's a little too early to count him out. I personally don't think he'll make it but I'm rooting for him. he seems to have a good attitudeits all good

i have to say every post and photo shows him to be in great spirits, always smiling, i think he would be the kind of guy that would finish anyway, just for the fun of it. he seems to be having a great trip so far.and dont forget, this is a guy capable of pulling a 100 mile day.its all good
