$319 yikes. I keep my phone off except to try and check in with family at the end of the day. I hike to disconnect with the wired world and connect to nature. I find that even after 5 days on trail I'll have 75% or more of my phone battery. OI carry a spare camera battery.

Well keep in mind it has to be waterproof, built in lipo battery, charging system and bridge to fake out the phone electronics into charging at the right speed. Hopefully its lightweight.

and it works on a rainy day....priceless.
