I've put my down sleeping bags in the washing machine, set on gentle, with Down Wash.
That seems to work well.

Took me a full four hours on low heat and no heat to dry my quilt. It's nice and fluffy now- until I cram it in the bottom of my pack lol."Dazed and Confused"

I decided it was time to wash my down quilt today. I've had it for a while now and probably over 100 nights in it. I got some Nikwax Down Wash and I'm hand washing it in the bathtub. What a pain trying to get all the air out of the thing. It's like as soon as you put it in the water the thing tries to turn into some kind of a raft. Took me 30 minutes to gently coax the air out. Now I'm rinsing it. I think I'll be glad I did once I've finished as the thing had lost some loft.
