Quote from Trillium: “We're heading (driving) to New Orleans tomorrow for Mardi Gras and spending a few days in Nashville on the way back. If anyone has any suggestions, particularly in regard to Nashville or Baton Rouge, I'd appreciate them. Our daughter has prepared an exhaustive excel schedule of what we'll be doing the entire time we're in NOLA. My only assignment was to find a church that we would attend on Sunday and Ash Wednesday. Reason for Baton Rouge is that is where she is flying into…

  • Quote from max.patch: “i believe the southern terminus of the appalachian trail should be changed to amicalola falls state park for several reasons. and while the ATC isn't quite ready to endorse my opinion, they are recommending that thru hikers begin their hike at AFSP rather than at springer mountain. appalachiantrail.org/home/comm…0n4ZCP1UHTdlQ4gExtWqkb0-0 ” really just an opinion. notice it's listed under "community" menu. no need to hike the approach trail, unless you want to.

Quote from max.patch: “if you're a juror on a murder trial, you're not supposed to read news articles about the case. but if you do, you really shouldn't post about it on facebook. unless, of course, you want to get dismissed. ” not to mention a potential mistrial. I was juror on a murder trial years ago. There was a lady who told the judge her religion wouldn't allow her to judge others, judge said his position wouldn't allow him to let her off so easy. she served along with the rest of us. whe…

    Post

I like a variety of weather (except bitter cold with ice, snow, etc.). I'm okay with cloudy and rainy, good thing because they tell me this area of Lower Alabama receives more rain than even Seattle (no reason to doubt that it's raining right now with scattered sunshine).
