Not making any comments on the lower photos.

Quote from Trillium: “We've been below freezing several nights this week. My husband is up in the Leelanau Peninsula purportedly to help a buddy renovating his century + old house but they've had frost Thursday, freezing rain Saturday and snow this morning so they haven't accomplished much since he got up there on Thursday. ” I am sure they are still having a good time. As the years go by it is always great to spend a little time with old friends.

Quote from Trillium: “I injured my foot pretty badly on 9/15; was on crutches for 2 weeks then slowly recuperating. Today I went for a hike with my meetup group, MAC. They were hiking 10-12 miles on the Waterloo-Pinckney and Equestrienne trails. I hiked with them for 1.65 miles then turned around and hiked 1.65 miles back to the parking lot for a 3.3 mile total. That was long enough for today. It felt so wonderful to be back out in the woods on a trail hiking again!! ” Sorry to hear of your inju…

Quote from Traffic Jam: “Funny thing about weight loss... I stayed on the same number for 5 days(?) despite eating healthy and keeping my calorie count low(ish). Yesterday was so stressful that I didn’t care what I ate, had chicken nuggets, half a sandwich, and a small bag of potato chips for lunch. Then for dinner, ate a double bacon cheeseburger and cheese curds from Culver’s. This morning, I weighed less, ” Who knows, perhaps grease and dairy products might have had a short term impact.

Quote from LIhikers: “I rode my bicycle to work yesterday for the first time in a month. I had hurt my leg at work and had to wait for it to heal, so I wasn't riding. It was 36 degrees when I left the house but I was spot on with how I dressed. The only part of me that was cold were my ear lobes. During the ride home I had a verbal altercation with a young car driver who was sure I should be riding on the side walk. The exchange involved a lot of him sounding his car horn, yelling out his window…

Brewers making it interesting, win without even using Josh Hader. He was a starter before Astros traded him to Brewers, and has few days rest. So I would not be surprised if goes 3 innings tomorrow if needed.

Quote from max.patch: “thus shoulda been the world series. i think houston has earned a promotion back to the national league where they belong. ” Other than perhaps the blind eye to steroids the biggest mistake by Bud Selig. If he wanted even number of teams again, he should have sent his Brewers back to AL. Really unethical abuse of power if you think about it. I try not to think about it too much.

Quote from IMScotty: “The Sox's bats never let up, and the Astros had a few bad breaks. I look forward to doing this again next year when hopefully Altuve will be at 100%. On to the World Series ! ” When you get to get to this point you have to be both really good and lucky. When the Astros were winning last year I probably took for granted the good breaks they got. I am all for a rematch next year. And to channel Kevin McHale the first time they lost to Detroit, "Beat LA".
