  • Quote from Traffic Jam: “I love lemon juice in my Mac and cheese. Sounds weird but it’s good. ” No doubt adds a refreshing kick - I like to take WAWA lemon packs of real lemon that was destined to go into Tea, and put it in my half and half Ice Tea w/ Lemonaid.

  • Don't judge, this is unusual and different SnugPak Scorpion 3 Tent in Olive. It holds up in 50+ MPH winds and rain. youtube.com/watch?v=7GKLeOZYKpQ

  • Quote from LDog: “I carry some good macaroni, King Flour brand powdered cheddar cheese, Nido and olive oil. I boil the macaroni till it's softened, but still not al dente. I pour off most of the water, add olive oil, sprinkle cheese in while stirring, add Nido the same way, add some parsley, salt and pepper, and put the pot in it's cozy for five minutes. Stir and I've got a nice smooth Mac 'n' cheese. If I have some good jerky, I might add it in early in the process. ” Thanks for the post!

Quote from Traffic Jam: “Multi-day hikes remain elusive for me. I can’t seem to work around all my obligations and responsibilities. I may have to permanently set up my bivy and tarp in the backyard for when I’m feeling sorry for myself. ” Just found this... You have one focused moment and like a laser beam pick a cooler month. Choose 1 week amongst the leaves changing. BLOCK it. Let nothing touch it... pretend its KARMA and make it happen.

Quote from jimmyjam: “Plastic is a serious problem people. Please get and use reusable bags. Our ancestors made it just fine without plastic. ” I smuggled plastic straws into California last week...and got them past the TSA. They confiscated the stainless steel ones... as clearly could be used as a weapon with spitballs.
