    It’s now been confirmed that at least 2 tornados and a “macroburst” hit Connecticut. At Sleeping Giant State Parm, The parking lot and picnic area got a direct hit from one of the tornados. The park has a WPA/CCC style stone firetower at the peak of the mountain about a half mile from where the damage occured.
