    Looks like I'll be a 2017 hiker... My last AT hike of any distance was in 2011. Due to some family stuff (mostly medical), I've been unable to get time to do any sections. This looks like the year! It's short for planning, but my sister (who is coming from Fl) and I will be starting at Delaware Water Gap NOBO and seeing how far we can go in 11 days on the trail.     Looking at Orienteering USA clubs map, you're in the middle of nowhere, AKA, equidistant from Louisville, Lexington, Raonoke, Atlanta, and Birmingham... Was it the UT map and compass that was canceled?
