Yes. The back mesh pocket on the Circuit can carry just about anything you want. But I wouldn't. The sleeping mat is part of my sacrosanct "must remain dry" gear. It goes inside in the completely dry stuff. I use a trash bag liner. I don't trust a pack cover to keep stuff dry.
