It was just the very tip so I put a wadded up chemwipe in my mouth, stretched him out and yanked the zipper down. It was awful and I ain't gonna lie and say that I didn't shed a tear, but the worst part was the itching as it healed. Luckily I was at sea when it happened so I could walk around holding him and no one thought anything about it

The Silent War by John Craven. Great book by a great man. I can't vouch for how much someone else might enjoy, but having lived the subject matter and having the intimate knowledge that comes with such makes a great read for me. IMHO, he's the most important American that no one knows.

The benefits of a hammock for me FAR outweigh any negatives. TJ I sewed loops on the corners and along the sides of my quilt. I run bungie cord through the loops and simply tie it off at the ends of the hammock, This allows me to slide the UQ to whatever position I desire.
