I got so bored at work one night that I "drove" around Cades Cove with street view looking for deer and bears. I saw zero, but I stated getting carsick and didn't make it all the way around, lol.

I was surveying a property today and a 1500' +/- creek was the back property line. The creek itself was in a tunnel of vegetation so I was walking it with my compass, pacing the runs and making notes of everything. As I was nearing the end I was bitching about being drenched in sweat and covered in spider webs. Then I walked out of the the jungle and into the pasture to head back to the truck....that's when the monsoon hit. All I could do was laugh.

Well.....I have been known to grab a handfull of them little nylon footies they have for women to use when they try on shoes, they work great for what your talking about. I'm not gonna go without my coffee. I put coffee in the same category with pizza and poontang; even when it's bad it's good.

Done. I'll get it out monday. I don't like the conventional top covers because they just get in the dang way. What I do instead is cut a circle to fit inside the top and cut a slit in it to slide it past the plunger shaft..... thumb Also, I didn't make any cuts for the handle as you may not want them. If you do you can always make them yourself. Here's my current, albeit beat all to hell, one with cuts for the handle.... thumb I often heat my water in the pot then add the coffee, stir, then add …

Made for it. Hold on and I'll find you an Amazon link for it..... If you decide to get one let ma know and I'll make you a cozy for it. I have a big ol roll of reflectix left over. Also, there's a few tricks to making better coffee with it. First, it comes with some kind of filter thingy on the bottom of the press....cut it off first thing. Second, push the plunger STRAIGHT down and SLOWLY. Third, pour slowly.

Quote from sheepdog: “My dads best friend was a state trooper. He told us this story. He got called on a suicide and he had been a troop for almost a year. The wife met him at the door and said her husband had shot himself with a shotgun in the mouth. He looked in the living room and sure enough there he was in all his gory glory. About that time the guy stands up and starts walking towards him groaning like a zombie. He said it scared him so bad he almost shot him. ” Don't think because I "like…
