One of the many highlights that are denied to many, is the gift of birth. For years I hiked with my dad and his true companion was a Jack Russel when I wasn't there to be with him. And I understand he occasionally liked to be alone. But after two years of planning and understand I have not done this sine I was ten, as a family we decided to breed Belle on Christmas day. To all my friends here this is a big undertaking. I did this to offer one incredible lifetime memories for my 10 year old grand…

  • appalachiantrailcafe.net/index…28667b1315a74447ae21d083eSo Ashley has turned 9 and is all about hiking.. And because my walking ability is somewhat limited right now here in 2020 ,,, I thought I would share what we are doing for this year. I picked up on a idea that we as a family can go places for short walks and end up in quiet evenings around a campfire.. I have a tent for her that sets up in seconds. I picked up a 22 foot Mini light last week and we are testing it out... I am headed for Gett…

It's not haute cuisine, but I do like their biscuits. I can never get mine to come out like that. ” Do you remember the thread about "White Lilly" flour? Well its true. It makes you wonder, nothing but rain and cold in February. High winds yesterday, and you read about this fire. It must have been deliberately set. Did anyone get a followup or know someone in the area? The fire was reported to officials about 2:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon, when many hikers were on the mountain – some of whom took pictures as they were told to get down off the mountain. usatoday.com/story/news/nation…fmpxJU8fUJ-PKz72g54FOXSlI
