Quote from max.patch: “lol... secsports.com/news/2024/05/dou…4-sec-baseball-tournament ” I got a headache reading the rules. "If a Batter-Runner first must tie his/her shoe, then they must proceed to the colored base (Orange or Green) but only if there is the possibility that the Left Field Player has first been able to pick up the ball, otherwise the center fielder has first choice. When the first base player first reaches for the edge of the first base and while the Batter-Runner is proceeding…

Quote from max.patch: “Strolling down the trail with a day pack containing a half dozen Little Debbie's and a liter of water as you make your way to a gap where a car/van awaits with all your other gear is not a thru hike. I do not recognize this "record". This individual has NEVER done what thousands of other thru hikers have done -- put on a backpack and hike from one terminus to the other. ” LOL. Can't wait for the Matt C person to hear it.......Reminds me to go check his YouTube channel.

  • I have her on FB and also Instagram. She did an unsupported hike on the Arizona trail and finished, I think, 5/24/2024. She overcame a lot of obstacles, as she does. Including falling and cutting her head open. It doesn't show up on the FKT website, but Unsupported, Mexico to Utah, 24 days 1 hour and 12 minutes. If that is accurate, it looks like she knocked some 4 days off the unsupported record.

We went to our third Texas Rangers Game yesterday, courtesy of my 92 YO mom. Sat on first base side first trip, third base side this time. We were up a bit high but the views are good. Trouble was the concourse was behind us and the AC fan would come on full blast. We had windswept hair when we left at the top of the ninth. Mom has a handicap parking and they pick us on on golf carts and deliver us to the doors! They mark down the car on a slip of paper they give to us. They ask where our sectio…

Quote from StalkingTortoise: “It was sometime last year that the Buffalo Trace Distillery took Sazerac off the allocated list and made it available every day in the gift shop. One bottle per day, same as BT bourbon. Their old distributor was playing games with BT offerings, making customers buy X and Y if they wanted to get more BT products. I enjoy Sazerac, but my favorite ryes come out of New Riff Distillery. Never found a single barrel pick that I didn't like, and their specialty ryes are out…

Quote from odd man out: “I started drinking BT few years ago before it got hip and trendy. There was a whole pile of it by the check out line. It was in my price range so I tried it. Right after that it became hard to find. I did find a bottle recently, along with a bottle of Sazarac. ” They changed how BT products are distributed. At least in some areas. Within about a month, suddenly our Total Wine had an entire end cap of BT. My little mom&pop store then also had about a case of it and every …

Pours I like better than Blanton's (I call it Blathers to a buddy who thinks it's the best and I'm a moron for thinking otherwise). Eagle Rare. EH Taylor Small Batch. The regular Buffalo Trace. Smoke Wagon Uncut Unfiltered (I mail order it). Benchmark, Bonded (easy to find around Texas and taste like ER and other Higher End BT products). I found that all the Benchmarks seem to be good tasting to me and are easy to find, no games at the stores to purchase. I'm sure there are others. Taste is subj…
